Panoramic Associates are currently supporting a Kent-based school seeking an experienced Interim SENCo. This is a key role within the school, focused on ensuring strong SEND provision, maintaining statutory compliance, supporting EHCP processes, and driving inclusive practice across the setting. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure pupils receive the support they need while helping to strengthen systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all statutory SENCo responsibilities.
- Manage and coordinate EHCP processes, reviews, and annual reviews.
- Support the effective delivery and development of SEND systems and provision.
- Provide guidance and support to staff around inclusion, SEND, and behaviour strategies.
- Work collaboratively with senior leaders, families, external agencies, and local authority partners.
- Monitor SEND provision and contribute to continuous improvement across the school.
Essential Experience
- Previous SENCo experience.
- Strong understanding of EHCP processes and SEND legislation.
- Proven experience leading inclusion and behaviour strategies.
