Looking to build your experience within commercial property and local government? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an Essex Council supporting a busy and varied non-housing commercial portfolio.
You'll play a key role supporting the day-to-day management of commercial properties, working across tenant liaison, lease administration, contractor coordination, service charges and property records.
The Role- Managing tenant and property-related enquiries
- Supporting lease renewals, rent reviews and landlord consents
- Coordinating maintenance and contractor works
- Maintaining tenancy and compliance records
- Assisting with invoicing, service charges and budget monitoring
- Carrying out occasional property visits, key handovers and meter readings
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience
- Background within property, estates or commercial property management
- Organised, proactive and confident managing a varied workload
- Strong communication and Excel skills
- Hybrid working
- Exposure to a diverse commercial portfolio
- Great public sector experience
- Supportive and friendly team environment
