Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client based in the Midlands to facilitate the appointment of an experienced Senior Commercial Contracts/Construction Lawyer to support the legal service with a varied caseload of commercial contracts and construction-related matters.
- Advising on a range of commercial contracts matters, including drafting, negotiating and reviewing agreements.
- Providing legal support on construction-related matters, including development and works contracts.
- Advising on contract risk, governance, and compliance, ensuring robust and defensible decision-making.
- Supporting procurement and commissioning activity, including advising through tender processes and contract award.
- Significant experience working within a Local Authority (or wider public sector) legal setting.
- Strong technical experience in commercial contracts, ideally with exposure to construction law and related documentation.
- The ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision and deliver to deadlines.
This role is an initial 6-month contract with likely extension and offering £55–£65 per hour Inside IR35 (dependent on experience). This is a hybrid role, with office attendance required as needed.
