Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our client, an established multi-discipline consultancy in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity to work on both national and local commissions across a diverse range of sectors, including public buildings and estates, residential & housing, retail, healthcare and commercial.\\n\\nThe projects you will be involved with will vary in scale and complexity from small refurbishment schemes to large developments exceeding Β£30 million. \\n\\nKey responsibilities\\n\\nDelivering client management and contract administration services\\nCarrying out building and condition surveys, defect analysis, and preparing dilapidation schedules\\nAdvising on design, construction, maintenance, refurbishment, and compliance with building regulations\\nPreparing specifications, tenders, maintenance programmes, and administering contracts\\nManaging Party Wall matters, insurance claims, and remedial works\\nLeading and coordinating projects, involving in-house multi-disciplinary teams\\nSupervising, mentoring, and supporting junior surveyors within the team\\nUndertaking technical reviews to maintain service qualitySkills & experience required:\\n\\nMRICS qualified with demonstrable consultancy experience\\nStrong technical knowledge across all aspects of building surveying\\nProven ability to lead projects and manage teams effectively\\nExcellent communication and client-facing skills\\nStrong analytical, written, and reporting abilitiesWhat we offer:\\n\\nOpportunity to work on prestigious and diverse projects\\nA collaborative and supportive working culture\\nStructured career development and progression opportunities\\nSalary up to Β£60k plus comprehensive benefits packageThis is an exciting opportunity to advance your career as part of a respected consultancy, delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors
