Currently seeking an experienced and qualified SENCO for an interim role at a school near Suffolk. This is a mainly leadership-focused position, with very little teaching required (occasional cover only), and is available immediately until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
  • Support inclusion and remove barriers to learning for pupils with additional needs
  • Oversee behaviour management and attendance strategies
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to monitor pupil progress
  • Liaise with external agencies and professionals as required
  • Ensure statutory SEN processes and EHCPs are managed effectively
