Panoramic Associates are supporting our Local Authority client in the Midlands with the recruitment of a Substantive Consultant in Public Health.
Salary: Up to approximately £105k per annum
Onsite: 2 days per week, ideally Wednesdays and Thursdays but is flexibility
Working Pattern: Ideally full-time, could consider 4 days per week
Portfolio: Predominantly Healthcare Public Health and Neighbourhood health initially but flexible around interests
Interviews: Mid February
Role:
- Current postholder looks after healthcare public health and neighbourhood health so managing these areas initially
- Integrated care partnership work
- You will have an opportunity to work across the breadth of Public Health functions, supporting the DPH, including deputising where required, and providing public health advice to stakeholders
- Provide expert public health support and whole system leadership to ensure an evidence-based approach for commissioning and developing high quality equitable services, within and across a range of organisations
- Take responsibility for a range of public health issues and work across organisational and professional boundaries acting as a change agent managing complexity to deliver improvements in health and wellbeing
Requirements:
- You don't need to have experience in a particular portfolio area of public health
- Collaborative, proactive and adaptable
- Comfortable with changing environments
- Inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register/GDC Specialist List/UK Public Health Register (UKPHR) for Public Health Specialists (with a license to practice) or within 6 months of CCT at the date of interview.
