Role Summary

As an Area Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing a portfolio of learning disability services, including supported living, outreach, and residential care. This strategic position is pivotal in driving forward the quality of care and support provided to individuals within the North East area.

Responsibilities

  • Previous involvement in setting up or developing new services
  • Ability to manage multiple services simultaneously
  • Lead a team of Home Managers and staff across multiple services
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service provision
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must possess a professional qualification in Nursing, Social Work, NVQ 4/5, CMS, CMI Level 5, or MBA

  • Proficiency in change management, leadership, and delegation
  • Current driving licence and ability to drive to various service locations
