Location: Mainly remote (travel to Northwest London once a month)
An education Trust is looking for a hands-on Interim HR Systems & Data Lead to stabilise and improve SAM People and workforce data, including integration across HR, payroll and operational systems. Youβll work across HR, Finance, IT and suppliers to improve data quality, system configuration and process consistency.
- Trust-wide workforce data cleanse and improved data standards (roles, contracts, patterns, identifiers)
- Review/improve SAM People configuration and day-to-day use
- Document end-to-end HR processes in-system (onboarding, absence, contracts, records, compliance/SCR)
- Strengthen HR-to-payroll data flows and starter/leaver automation reliability
- Create simple process maps/guides, support training, and improve workforce reporting outputs
Ideal background
- HR systems & data specialist (ideally SAM People or HRIS)
- Practical experience working with HR and/or payroll data and data quality improvement
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written β experienced with suppliers, internal stakeholders (IT, HR, Finance) and confident documenting processes
- Must have worked in a multi academy trust, primary school or secondary school
