A well-established school trust in the North West is seeking to appoint an Interim SEN Support Lead to provide support to its SEND provision for the remainder of the academic year. This role requires a highly skilled professional with the capacity to step in promptly, ensure continuity, and uphold high standards of inclusive practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the school’s SEND provision, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Oversee EHCP processes, annual reviews, and associated documentation
- Provide professional guidance, coaching, and support to teaching and support staff
- Work collaboratively with senior leaders to strengthen whole-school SEND strategy
- Monitor pupil progress, evaluate interventions, and contribute to improvement planning
- Build effective relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies

- Substantial experience in SEND leadership within a school environment
