We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Interim Operations Manager to provide operational and hands-on leadership across a portfolio of services supporting adults with learning disabilities and additional needs. This role is critical in ensuring continuity, stability, and excellence in service delivery during a period of organisational transition.
The successful candidate will bring a strong track record in multi-site management within specialist care settings, combined with the ability to lead teams, drive quality, and maintain full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational oversight and leadership across multiple services
- Ensure full compliance with CQC requirements and internal governance frameworks
- Monitor service performance, quality indicators, and safeguarding practices
- Lead and support initiatives, embedding best practice across all sites
- Build and maintain effective relationships with commissioners, families, and external stakeholders
- Uphold a person-centred approach that promotes independence, dignity, and positive outcomes
- Significant experience in operational leadership within learning disability or specialist care environments
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, quality standards, and safeguarding frameworks
- Proven ability to lead teams through change with clarity, professionalism, and resilience
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and deliver results at pace
