Panoramic Associates are seeking an experienced Interim Headteacher for a well-established special school, starting as soon as possible and running until the end of the Summer term initially.
As interim Headteacher you will work with an established SLT to:
- Expand access to the provision
- Build relationships with families and local authorities
- Drive referrals and sustainable growth
- Ensure the school is prepared for higher intake
The school caters to ASD/SEN students so you will preferably have experience working with these needs, though a more general SEN background is also welcomed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Headteacher within a special school (ASD experience preferred but any SEN background welcomed)
- A strong understanding of curriculum leadership in SEND settings desirable but not essential
- Ability to lead confidently through change
- Commercial awareness around referrals and placements
Interviews will take place ASAP with a view to start immediately pending vetting. Paid on a day rate for the 6‑month period, inside IR35. A DBS on the update service would be preferable but not essential.
