Job Title: Interim Metering and Billing Manager Location: London (Local Authority) Contract: 6 Months (Inside IR35) Rate: £400 per day We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Metering and Billing Manager to join a forward-thinking London Local Authority on a 6-month contract. This pivotal role is focused on delivering a practical and legally compliant billing solution for heating in response to forthcoming changes in heat network regulations. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of a robust billing framework for heat networks, ensuring full compliance with emerging regulatory requirements. Provide expert advice on leasehold service charges, including the influence of lease terms and legislation on applicable recharges. Rapidly assimilate the regulatory landscape, assessing implications for both tenants and leaseholders. Engage in co-design sessions with residents, legal teams, finance departments, and other stakeholders to collaboratively shape billing options. Produce detailed documentation outlining viable billing strategies, including risk analysis, legal considerations, and implementation pathways.
