The Wonderfield Group has recently been purchased by Zensho Holdings, the leading food service company in Japan with a market cap of $5.5b. We operate restaurants, factories, and thousands of sushi kiosks and have recently built a successful cut fruit business, Snowfruit.
About You
- You have strong experience in sales and/or recruitment preferably in franchise food sector or similar sectors.
- You have a proven track record in Franchise sales or recruitment, pitching to the right candidates, filtering them and finalising Franchise Agreements.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.
- You have strong understanding of franchising, best practices and UK laws that relate to franchising.
- You can think outside the box and come up with solutions.
- You thrive in fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is an essential skill.
- You can understand and follow lengthy onboarding and offboarding processes.
- You can handle multiple deals in a short amount of time.
- You are organised with Admin and can follow strict processes.
- You are able to maintain focus and deliver results under pressure.
- You can work effectively within a team environment.
- You are driven to generate new sales, recruit the best candidates, and consistently surpass monthly targets.
Key Responsibilities
- The Franchise Business Development Manager coordinates the sales process for existing franchisees, liaising with our current and new partners to ensure a smooth transition.
- Approximately 70% of the role will focus on selling corporate kiosks, with the remaining 30% supporting the resale of existing partner kiosks.
- Drives lead generation to attract strong quality candidates to join the network of over 500 locations.
- Provides solutions for sale of difficult locations – bespoke ideas, visiting the sites and preparing localised advertising plan to target local communities.
- Owns the sales process for new and existing partners, carries out meetings with prospects including sales presentation and sales pitch.
- Filters best candidates, allocates them to the right locations and supports their onboarding using internal CRM system.
- Strives to achieve personal and team KPIs.
- Liaise with the Senior Franchise Business Manager and the Operations team to facilitate the handover of new or transferred franchise locations, ensuring that all requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.
- Completes all due diligence and admin linked with the sale.
- Owns re-sales processes where current franchisees are looking to sell their business, acts as key point of contact for all parties involved.
- Supports wider Franchise processes like: Sales, Onboarding, Transfers, Renewals and much more.
- Complies with all company policies, procedures and standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations pertaining to franchising.
