Their core business focuses on carbon trading, environmental certificates, and clean energy solutions across EU markets. They’re now hiring a German-speaking Senior Sales Associate to drive business development across the DACH market, focusing on carbon markets and environmental products such as EUAs and GOs. This is a front-office role combining client relationship management, market engagement, and trade execution.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build and manage relationships with corporate clients and trading counterparties in the DACH region.
- Sell environmental commodities (e.g. EU allowances, renewable certificates) to large energy users and sustainability-conscious businesses.
- Track market trends, policy changes, and commercial opportunities across EU carbon and energy markets.
- Work closely with internal traders and analysts to align client needs with market positions and strategy.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and trading documentation in collaboration with the wider sales and trading team.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to the company’s commercial intelligence.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years in a front-office sales, trading, or business development role in energy, commodities, or environmental markets.
- Proven experience managing corporate clients and closing deals in complex or regulated markets.
- Deep understanding of EU environmental products (EU ETS, GOOs, voluntary offsets).
- Native or fluent German and strong English (written and spoken).
