Overview of the role:
- Lead the day‑to‑day technical delivery of electrical design services for data centre and mission‑critical projects.
- Develop initial strategic concepts, ensuring solutions meet the brief and relevant regulatory standards.
- Provide client‑facing support: attend meetings, respond to needs, and communicate requirements to the project team.
- Support commercial delivery by helping monitor fee expenditure, resources, and work delivered.
- Mentor and support apprentices, graduates, and “next gen” professionals.
Required experience and skills:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer (or closely related), delivering Mission Critical/Data Centre projects.
- Strong technical delivery processes and experience using tools such as Revit, BIM, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux.
- Demonstrable experience working with clients/contractors/architects in a consultant/design environment.
- A supportive leadership style, with experience helping others grow in knowledge and confidence.
