About the Role:
Pangea is looking to appoint an LNG Shipping Analyst to join a leading Trader in London. This dynamic role will provide critical analytical support to my clients chartering team, driving insights and recommendations to optimise LNG shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and a solid understanding of time charter party (TCP) agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of LNG shipping markets, vessel performance, and operational costs to support chartering decisions.
• Assist the chartering team with commercial evaluations, voyage calculations, and profitability assessments.
• Monitor and report on market trends, including freight rates, supply-demand dynamics, and regional shipping developments.
• Analyse TCP terms and agreements, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Maintain and enhance data models, tools, and reports to support efficient decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, trading, and finance teams, to provide actionable insights.
