Join a leading company in the renewable energy sector! We are looking for highly skilled Field Service Engineers to support and maintain cutting-edge BESS and related technologies. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Energy Storage Systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability for clients across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve issues across HV, LV systems.
- Optimize and troubleshoot EMS / BMS.
- Service and maintain BESS modules
- Work with inverter technologies, particularly PE or SMA inverters.
- Maintain industrial networks and protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, Profibus, CAN-bus).
- Operate and service PLCs, control systems, and protection relays.
- Support PV system diagnostics and repairs.
- Service variable frequency drives and HVAC systems, including chillers.
- Manage fire alarm and suppression systems effectively.
- Program advanced firewalls and routers to ensure network security.
Requirements:
- 18th Edition, NVQ or BSc in Electrical related fields or demonstrable work experience in lieu.
