The product portfolio compromises of a wide range of packaging technology, food processing equipment, automation solutions, labelling/marking equipment, bakery solutions, inspection systems and packaging materials applications.
The Proposals & Project Engineer plays a crucial role in delivering Capital Equipment Projects to the food and medical industries within the UK market.
This role encompasses two primary functions
- Managing Technical Sales Proposals
- Supporting Project Delivery
Proposals
- Handle new enquiries and assess, scope, design, develop, and create technical
- sales proposals.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and/or Business Unit Manager to
- manage the publication of proposals.
Project Tasks
- Support Project Managers and the Business Unit Manager in the timely delivery and implementation of integrated lines.
- Prepare supporting documentation, review specifications, manage resources,
- and communicate across departments and with third parties.
Project Management
- Manage up to 10 proposals/projects simultaneously, with project values ranging from €100K to €5M.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in 2D CAD software.
- Strong understanding of technical project documentation, including
- process flow diagrams, User Requirement Specifications and cost/finance reports.
- Knowledge of CE regulations and safety standards.
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Familiarity with CRM systems for managing project data and customer interactions.
Project Management
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with values ranging from €100K to €5M.
- Ability to prepare and manage project financial summaries and technical sales proposals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Communication and Collaboration
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships within the organization and with external partners.
- Experience in liaising with third-party contractors.
**After an initial training period there is flexibility to work from home with approximately 2 days per week in the office.
