Packaging/Processing Machinery - Regional Sales Manager - N/E (Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Durham, Tyne & Wear, Northumberland) *Global Market Leader (probably the biggest and best in the sector)!! - Candidates MUST HAVE relevant experience, candidates without experience will not be considered.

  • Overview of Role
  • Develop Sales within defined Territory
  • Be accountable for Sales and GM Budget within defined Territory
  • Promote and sell complete portfolio/product range of capital equipment
  • Manage own territory in terms of customer meetings, appointments, contact, sales and budgets
  • Represent the Company at all levels within new/existing customer base
  • Maintain CRM system and report activity to Director of Regional Sales as required Required Experience
  • A background in selling complex/bespoke solutions
  • Previous experience as a field-based territory sales representative
  • Good numeracy and Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to assimilate, analyse communicate complex problems
  • Confident stand-up presenter
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home as required plus occasional European travel
  • Proactive and tenacious approach to selling: Hunter mentality – while managing existing accounts will constitute the majority of sales, sales within the region will not grow without hunting down new accounts and new business
  • Passionate/excited by engineering and delivering/presenting solutions to complex problems
  • Attention to detail Desired Skills
  • An engineering or other analytical degree (or similar qualification)
  • Background in selling high-value, bespoke capital equipment
  • Food industry experience
