As a Biomedical Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging clinical and technical teams, with a focus on undiagnosed patients, precision medicine and opportunities to leverage knowledge and experience in Medical Genetics/Genomics.

This is an external-facing role, where your primary responsibilities will be to research and produce deliverables focusing on the leveraging of EHR data to discover more untreated patients across rare and hard-to-diagnose conditions, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes. You will translate scientific research and concepts into presentations, whitepapers, publications, and posters, as well as managing ongoing projects. Your scientific and clinical understanding of project objectives will additionally help support product configuration. While technical expertise in machine learning and predictive modeling is not required, it is critical that you develop a strong understanding of the methods used and how they align with each project’s clinical and scientific objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management & Deliverables: Lead the creation of project-specific deliverables, including presentations, whitepapers, and documentation, tailored to customer needs.
  • Scientific Writing & Publication: Utilize your scientific and clinical expertise to produce high-quality written content for peer-reviewed journals and other publications.
  • Client & Internal Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (technical teams, clinicians, marketing) to ensure clinical objectives are met and that company goals are reflected in product design and client interactions.
  • Output Validation & Feedback: Validate project outputs, conduct error analysis, and provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
  • Support Product Configuration: Apply your clinical understanding to assist in the configuration and alignment of products with client requirements.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with individuals across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to convey complex ideas clearly to a variety of audiences, both verbally and in writing.
  • Quick to learn and adjust to new tasks and evolving project requirements.
Technical Skills:
  • Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree with at least two years of university study in Life Science, Medicine, Biomedical Informatics, Genetic Counseling or related fields.
  • Relevant work experience, including internships, industry or academia experience.
  • Familiarity with both common and rare diseases and an understanding of the patient journey (from initial symptoms and risk factors to diagnosis, treatment, and clinical trials).
  • Deep knowledge of Life Sciences, Medicine, or Biomedicine enabling you to translate client needs into effective product solutions and delivery.
  • Proven ability in scientific writing or contributing to published scientific articles.
  • Confidence and clarity in communicating with customers, clinicians and scientists.
Nice to Have:
  • An understanding of precision medicine approaches, including genetic/genomic testing in cancer and rare diseases.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment, such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or similar fields, including familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), compliance protocols, or regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience using EHR systems (e.g. Epic, Cerner) at the point of care.
  • Experience with research communities and/or efforts, including having published papers (being listed as an author) at biomedical conferences and journals.
  • Experience (classroom/work) with general programming languages: Python, C++, Java, etc.
  • Knowledge or experience (classroom/work) in AI and NLP.

This role is ideal for individuals looking to apply their academic, clinical or industry expertise in a dynamic environment that focuses on commercial and business development rather than laboratory research. Please note that this is not a biomedical research role, nor does it include any laboratory work.
