Your Mission
The Sales Manager plays a central role in strengthening Panerai’s presence across the UK & Ireland by building outstanding partnerships, driving commercial performance, and elevating our brand experience in wholesale and retail environments. This role is designed for someone energetic and eager to grow. With 70% travel across the region, the Sales Manager will spend most of their time on the field—deepening relationships, supporting sell-out performance, providing training, and ensuring that Panerai is represented with excellence across all touchpoints.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
- Commercial Development & Sell-Out Growth
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales performance across the UK & Ireland network (wholesale & external boutiques).
- Identify commercial opportunities, propose tailored initiatives, and support partners to maximise sell-out.
- Build creative yet pragmatic incentive schemes and animations that fit within budget constraints.
- Monitor stock levels, assortment efficiency, and aged inventory with partners; recommend corrective actions.
- Partners Relationship Management
- Act as Panerai’s frontline ambassador—cultivating trusted, long-lasting relationships with key retail partners.
- Ensure each point of sale reflects Panerai’s standards in experience, storytelling, and product visibility.
- Serve as the primary contact for operational requests and problem-solving with agility and a business-owner mentality.
- Field Training & Team Empowerment
- Provide engaging and effective in-store training on collections, brand values, and clienteling practices.
- Act as a hands-on partner to sales advisors, identifying practical ways to enhance client engagement while equipping them with smart, easy-to-use sales tools that support higher conversion.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Regularly analyse sales data, competitor activity, and local market dynamics to inform the Head of Sales UK&I.
- Contribute insights that help adapt Panerai’s UK strategy to on-the-ground realities.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure compliance with Richemont and Panerai operational guidelines, standards, and HSE practices within the field environment.
- Coordinate with logistics, merchandising, and marketing teams to support flawless execution of launches and activations.
- POSM, Merchandising & Assortment Optimisation
- Ensure the consistent deployment, visibility, and upkeep of all POSM materials in line with Panerai guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Merchandising team to optimise product displays, ensuring strategic focus on hero pieces, newness, and commercial drivers.
- Monitor assortment performance by door, highlighting opportunities for rotation, replenishment, or rebalancing to maximise sell-out.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- 2–4 years of professional experience in a client-facing, commercial, retail, or operational role (luxury experience is a plus but not essential).
- Experience in roles requiring relationship-building, communication, and autonomy (e.g., retail, hospitality, field sales, brand ambassador roles).
- A track record of taking initiative, solving problems, and working hands-on.
- Willingness to travel 70% of the time across UK & Ireland.
- Strong interpersonal skills: able to build rapport quickly and maintain trusted partnerships.
- Analytical mindset: comfortable reading sales data and drawing actionable insights.
- Confident presenter and trainer, capable of inspiring retailer teams.
- Organised and efficient in planning travel, visits, and reporting.
