Reporting to the Boutique Manager, the Assistant Boutique Manager supports the overall leadership and performance of the boutique, contributing to commercial success, brand elevation and team development in full alignment with Panerai policies, standards and retail strategy. You will partner with the Boutique Manager to achieve sales objectives, actively develop boutique clientele and deliver a best‑class, hospitality‑led client experience, while ensuring excellence in operations, visual merchandising and daily execution. The Assistant Boutique Manager plays a key role in leading by example on the sales floor, coaching the team, ensuring operational rigor and taking full ownership of the boutique, acting as a true ambassador of Panerai, representing the Maison’s values and image both in the boutique and during client events or external brand engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership and Development: Act as a hands‑on floor leader, leading by example with energy, autonomy and a 'go‑to' attitude. Contribute to the recruitment, onboarding and long‑term development of Sales Advisors. Coach and motivate the team daily to achieve sales and service objectives. Support performance management through regular feedback, reviews and appraisals. Ensure strong product knowledge, service mastery and adherence to Panerai and Richemont standards.
  • Sales Performance & Business Growth: Actively sell and proactively develop new clients, leading client acquisition and follow‑up by example. Support the achievement of sales targets and KPIs through clear action plans and performance tracking. Analyse sales results, identify opportunities and suggest initiatives to improve performance. Contribute to the local execution of Panerai’s Retail Strategy with awareness of market and competitors.
  • Client Experience, Clienteling & CRM: Develop and nurture a strong boutique client base, including VICs, through personalised engagement. Ensure disciplined and effective use of CRM tools, with a focus on data quality and follow‑up. Support and host client events and local initiatives aligned with Panerai’s identity and values.
  • Operations & Boutique Excellence: Support back‑office processes, reporting, cash handling and stock accuracy. Oversee inventory flows (deliveries, transfers, repairs) and respect security procedures. Maintain impeccable boutique presentation, visual merchandising and grooming standards.
  • After‑Sales & Customer Care: Coordinate after‑sales and repairs with HQ and Richemont Customer Service. Ensure timely follow‑up of client requests and resolution of issues with a solution‑oriented mindset.
