Hours of work: 40 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 03:00pm to 12:00am and Friday 12:00pm to 06:00pm
Salary: From £13.50p/h – £14.00p/h

Job Overview: The scope of the role is to set‑up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including cutting and drilling of panels. Loading programs into the CNC machine. Entering initial settings such as selecting parameters, positioning material, and zeroing the machine. Working to set‑up sheets for pod location. Loading workpieces onto the machine. Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company. Check machines on a daily basis to guarantee functionality. Perform QA inspection of goods presented using visual inspection and tape measure to confirm dimensions.
Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Translate engineering drawing requirements into dimensions for production.
- Document progress of products through the department by initialling against each individual process.
- After completion, the products are labelled and kitted up ready for assembly.
- Be familiar with the company’s Health and Safety Policies and in particular with your responsibilities.
- Comply with all relevant internal rules, policies and procedures, included in the company handbook.

- Previous experience and proficient in the use of handheld power tools.
- Setting up manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and understand detailed engineering drawings.
- Effective communication includes speaking, writing, active listening and taking instructions.
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload in order to meet deadlines.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety.
- Excellent work ethic and team player.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
- Flexible approach to working additional hours when required.
