The Territory Account Manager II is responsible for promoting company products or services and achieving quota. This role involves managing a more complex account base in a specific territory, leading business planning, managing account activity to expand wallet share, and understanding how to navigate the business cycle effectively. The position requires building strategic relationships and executing the commercial process within the partner ecosystem.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Devising named Key Accounts sales plans.
- Managing relationships with targeted key account clients.
- Maintaining in-depth account profiles on key account clients.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Building + Data Centre Solutions and capability in Solutions Proposal build-up on Network Connectivity Solutions will be advantageous.
To ensure success as a territory account manager, one should be adaptive at market research and skilled in forming long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with named key account clients for long-term sales success.
Responsibilities:
- Setting and communicating sales targets that promote long-term incremental sales growth within a set of named focus end user accounts.
- Developing and executing evidence-based sales plans to meet the pre-set annual sales target.
- Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with top named key account clients.
- Traveling to businesses to conduct sales presentations, understand customer current practices, and propose solutions improvement with available product solutions.
- Resolving clients' concerns in a timely and amicable manner.
- Maintaining detailed records on key accounts.
- Presenting in-depth reports to the director of sales and other stakeholders, as required.
- Conducting regular market research to maintain updated knowledge of consumers' needs and competitors' activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields is recommended.
- Experience in managing structured cabling systems / Network Connectivity solutions.
- Consultative selling skills, with Solutions Proposals based on customer requirements.
- Demonstrable experience as a territory account manager.
- A proven history of meeting sales targets.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong vertical and lateral thinking abilities.
- The ability to build long-lasting professional relationships.
- A self-driven approach to work.
