We are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Supervisor to join our team and support the delivery of exceptional care services across our service users.

Role Overview

The Field Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring high standards of care delivery across all service users. This is a community-based role involving regular visits to clients’ homes to conduct:

  • Supervisions
  • Staff support and mentoring

You will act as a bridge between care staff and management, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular spot checks and quality monitoring visits
  • Review and update care plans and risk assessments
  • Ensure care documentation is accurate and compliant
  • Monitor service delivery in line with CQC regulations
  • Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate appropriately
  • Carry out staff supervisions and performance reviews
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to care staff
  • Support new staff during shadowing and induction
  • Promote best practice and continuous improvement
  • Assist with training and competency checks
  • Maintain positive relationships with service users and families
  • Address concerns and resolve service-related issues
  • Conduct service reviews and satisfaction checks
  • Promote a person-centred approach at all times
  • Support the Registered Manager with audits and inspections
  • Assist in rota monitoring and coverage where required
  • Participate in on-call duties (if applicable)
  • Ensure safe medication practices are followed

Minimum 1–2 years experience in a senior care or supervisory role

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)

Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Strong knowledge of CQC standards

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Good IT skills (care systems, email, documentation)

Experience in domiciliary/community care

Safeguarding training

Medication competency training

Leadership or team management experience
