Pandora’s Consumer & Marketing Insights Analyst will be the gatekeeper of all customer, market and brand data for Pandora BRIS (British Isles, inclusive of UK and Ireland). You’ll utilise relevant internal and external tools and partners to keep the business up to date on KPI progression, market landscape and competitor activity, offer strategic recommendations, and support the Marketing team in making key decisions that drive home our business objectives and traffic/revenue targets.
What To Expect From The Role
- Data Maintenance and Reporting: Work with the relevant sources to continuously collate relevant data and insights for the BRIS business. Ensure local reports are regularly updated and shared with the relevant stakeholders. Develop strong relationships with the Global teams to ensure BRIS are up to date on data systems and requirements, and always on the roadmap for any studies/trials. Support with the collation of ad hoc reports to support e.g. senior leadership or external partner discussions. Have an in-depth understanding of both our current and target customer and be able to speak clearly to who they are and how they behave. Have an in-depth understanding of our long-term brand strategy and be able to speak to the role insights plays in that. Make and maintain good relationships with external partners (Google, YouGov, Kantar etc.) and work with them on any relevant market research.
- Strategic Recommendations and Planning: Be able to structure clear commentary and turn data into fact-based recommendations and/or hypothesis. Conduct continuous analysis of competitors and the wider market to ensure we’re always on top of external influences on the brand. Conduct continuous analysis of the business to be able to identify opportunity areas. Support the Go-To-Market team on establishing the strategies for key business units, projects and launches. Connect the dots between strategy and performance, guiding the marketing team on potential optimisations. Support the marketing team in evaluating the effectiveness of our campaigns and content strategy to inform future planning. Work closely with the other analyst roles across BRIS to ensure we’re sharing information and aligned on business narratives.
About You
In order to be considered, you must demonstrate the following:
- 2 years’ experience in an analyst role, ideally within the retail sector.
- Strong experience working with data and building data-led recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised, with an ability to work to deadlines, and to plan and prioritise short and long-term tasks effectively.
- Experience using key platforms such as Google Analytics.
- The ability to work with IT resources such as databases and spreadsheets, for the collection and management of information.
- Enthusiasm, positive approach, energy and a passion for marketing.
