<b><b>Job Description</b></b><br><br><b>Control Systems Design Engineer</b> <br><br><b>Full time </b> <br><br><b>Bristol/Hybrid, or Derby/Hybrid, or Solihull/Hybrid (3 days per week on site)</b> <br><br>This position is being advertised to form a pipeline of candidates for current and future positions within Civil Aerospace, therefore applicants should not expect feedback immediately. However, we will endeavour to review your CV in a timely manner.<br><br><b>What you will be doing </b><br><br>The Controls Systems Engineer shall specify, design and validate complex sub-systems, including high-level requirements for the software and / or hardware system components, this will include creation of mathematical models and simulations of control and actuation systems.<br><br>The Controls Systems Engineer is responsible for the on-time delivery and quality of the controls sub-system and the artefacts associated with the design, verification and validation of the system. As a minimum we\’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.<br><br><b>Responsibilities </b><br><br><ul><li>Interpret stakeholder needs to develop and agree control system requirements</li><li>Develop high level requirements into a validated ad verifiable control and instrumentation system design.</li><li>Test and analyse control systems to support development and certification activities of safety critical systems.</li><li>Analyse events and data to support failure investigation and rectification</li><li>Support the wider organisation through continuous improvement and strategic planning.</li></ul><br><b>Who we\’re looking for:</b><br><br>At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
