We're looking for a driven and curious Business Development Representative to help us bring Pandektes to legal professionals across our UK market. You'll be the first point of contact for new customers and owning the full top-of-funnel: prospecting, outreach, and booking high-quality meetings. This is an early-stage role with real impact, built for someone who wants to grow fast in a category-defining legal tech company.

About Pandektes: Legal research hasn’t changed much in decades. Lawyers still spend countless hours navigating fragmented sources, outdated systems, and complex databases just to find the information they need. At Pandektes, we’re changing that. Our ambition is to build the leading global platform for legal research and the largest AI-powered legal database. By combining artificial intelligence, intelligent search, and continuously updated legal sources, we’re redefining how legal knowledge is accessed, understood, analyzed, and applied. Pandektes has raised more than €4 million and most recently closed a €2.9 million seed round led by People Ventures, Interface Capital, and leading angels. Pandektes already serves more than 350 customers across Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. We’re still early in the journey, and joining our team now means you’ll have big impact on shaping how we scale.

What you’ll do:

  • Owning outbound prospecting - researching, generating, and acquiring new leads
  • Book high-quality meetings with potential customers, from law firms to private and public institutions, by understanding their needs and clearly positioning Pandektes' value
  • Find creative ways to reach new prospects and continuously test what works
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent communication
  • Keep the pipeline accurate and up-to-date in HubSpot
  • Act as a feedback loop between customers, Customer Success, and Product - making sure real user insights drive platform improvements

What you’ll bring:

  • Some sales experience preferably in a B2B SaaS environment and/or a background in the legal space
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills
  • Initiative and creativity when it comes to outreach and finding new ways to prospect
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset that also thrives in a collaborative team
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple conversations and priorities at once
  • The ability to present solutions that genuinely resonate with legal professionals - if you don't yet have legal knowledge, you'll be supported by our in-house lawyers and expected to learn quickly
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have:

  • Background in legal or a law degree
  • Interest in technology and enthusiasm for AI (basic knowledge of AI and LLMs is a plus)

How we work:

We place great value on a vibrant, inspiring, and challenging company culture. This is achieved through a talented and passionate team that believes in achieving great things together. We value ownership – you can expect a lot of freedom and responsibility. The key is open communication, trust, and a shared passion to transform the legal world. We are a growing team based in our Copenhagen HQ and across Germany, Switzerland, Austria and London. This role is based in London / greater London area. We believe diverse teams build better products and stronger teams. We embrace and encourage people from all backgrounds to apply regardless of race/ethnicity, colour, religion, nationality, gender, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, socio-economic status, culture or beliefs.

What we offer:

  • A central role in a fast-growing company with €4M+ raised, most recently a €2.9M seed led by People Ventures and Interface Capital
  • A collaborative work environment where your input is not only valued but often implemented within hours
  • 25 vacation days per year + public holidays
  • International team events – last time we went to Barcelona, and we’d love to have you join us next time
  • Competitive compensation with commission-based pay
  • An attractive warrant program
  • Your own Pleo card for necessary work expenses
  • Paid parental leave
