Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Lead, manage, coach and motivate a team of field-based Business Development Managers.
  • Lead by example through active prospecting, customer visits, quotation development, negotiation and deal closure.
  • Drive regional new business growth, pipeline performance and KPI over-achievement.
  • Develop strong relationships with larger regional and national customers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of client site risk assessments and site audits.
  • Allocate and manage inbound enquiries, ensuring effective follow-up and conversion.
  • Maintain high standards of CRM accuracy, reporting and sales discipline.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, proposing new initiatives and opportunities.
  • Represent Panda at regional networking events and industry forums.
  • Cross-sell additional services including shredding, hazardous waste and national solutions.
  • Work closely with Sales Admin, Service and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, field visits and performance reviews.
  • Actively contribute ideas to improve sales performance, processes and regional results.
  • Plan diaries, prioritise workloads and manage sales activity effectively across the region.
