About The Role
We’re looking for a safety-focused Banksman to help manage vehicle movements at our busy Widnes site.
As a Banksman, you’ll work closely with drivers, weighbridge operators and site teams to ensure vehicles move safely and efficiently around the yard.
This is a hands‑on, outdoor role suited to someone who communicates clearly, stays alert and is confident working in a busy operational environment.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely control vehicle movements throughout the yard
- Give clear instructions and signals to drivers
- Communicate with weighbridge operators and operational teams
- Ensure first‑time visitors complete the required site induction
- Monitor compliance with site operating times and traffic rules
- Report drivers who fail to follow movement instructions
- Ensure PPE requirements are followed

- Arrange cleaning support when required
- Assist other site teams when needed
