As a Weighbridge Operator at Panda, you’ll play an important part in keeping our Widnes site running safely, accurately, and compliantly. This is a key coordination role, supporting the movement of incoming and outgoing waste across the site. You’ll work closely with internal teams, drivers, contractors, and external third parties to ensure vehicle movements are recorded correctly, paperwork is complete, and compliance standards are met at every stage. The role suits someone who is organised, detail-focused, and confident communicating with different teams in a busy operational environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll be responsible for operating the weighbridge and ensuring all information is captured accurately on the relevant systems.
- Operating the weighbridge using AMCS, with training provided where required.
- Entering vehicle details and weights accurately.
- Communicating clearly with the Yard Operations team using two-way radio.
- Ensuring full compliance for incoming and outgoing waste transfer notes.
- Checking waste carrier licences using the national register.
