We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Leeds team, operating skip and RoRo vehicles across the local area. This is a hands‑on role for a driver who takes pride in safe driving, good customer service, and keeping their vehicle to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Operating HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently
- Delivering, exchanging and collecting containers across customer sites
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
- Using handheld or tablet‑based systems to complete job and vehicle records
- Working safely at all times and following site, transport and road regulations
- Providing a professional and helpful service to customers on site
- Supporting the wider transport and depot team as needed
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Previous experience driving skip, RoRo, hookloader or similar vehicles is preferred
- Good understanding of driver compliance, vehicle safety and daily defect checks
- A reliable, professional approach with strong safety standards
- Good communication skills and a practical, customer‑focused attitude
- Flexibility to support operational needs, including varied shifts where required
