About The Role
Join Panda Waste at our Wolverhampton depot. We are looking for a reliable, professional Class 1 Driver to operate Articulated vehicles within our growing team.
The Pay & Perks
- Standard Rate: £14.50 per hour
- Overtime Rate: £21.75 per hour (Paid at 1.5x)
- Early Start Bonus: £10.00 extra per day (for starts before 04:30)
- Daily Bonus Potential: Up to £13.00 per day (£65 per week)
- Meal Allowance: £3.00 daily allowance
- Night Shift Allowance: £26.50 per night (when night work is required)
The Schedule
- Status: Full-Time, Permanent
- Hours: Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturdays required)
- Shift Times: Typical window between 05:00 and 17:00
- Stability: Consistent routes and a supportive local depot team
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Artic vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and compliance reporting.
- Maintaining digital tacho records and ensuring full compliance with WTD.
- Communicating effectively with the transport office.
Requirements
- Licence: Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) & Driver CPC.
- ADR: Must hold a valid ADR licence.
- Tacho: Current Digital Tachograph card.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional Class 1 driving.
- Insurance: Must be aged 25+ for insurance purposes.
- Geography: Strong knowledge of Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas.
