About the Role
Panda, a leading waste management solutions provider based in Bromborough (CH62 4SQ), is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team and play a vital role in our environmental services operations. Operating from our Bromborough depot, the role involves safely and efficiently collecting and transporting commercial/industrial waste using modern HGV fleet. The schedule includes Monday–Friday shifts starting between 3‑4 am, with a paid break and the option to earn extra via weekend overtime. This position offers a stable 40‑hour work week.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for waste collections.
- Plan efficient routes to maximise productivity and minimise environmental impact.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring sites are tidy and bins correctly positioned.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects.
- Adhere to waste duty of care regulations, driver’s hours, and health/safety standards.
Essential Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 licence and current Driver CPC.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Experience in waste sector operations (preferred).
