This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver to join Panda, a leading waste management provider. Based in Ashbourne (DE6 1JF), we specialise in sustainable resource recovery and are looking for a reliable professional to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, driving a range of modern HGV Class 2 vehicles. The role is varied and will involve operating trade waste, skip loaders, and RoRo vehicles to collect and transport commercial waste. You'll ensure safe and efficient collections, contributing directly to our mission of creating a cleaner, greener future.

- Pay: Hourly rate of £17.
- Bonuses: You can earn an extra £25 for attendance and another £25 for your daily vehicle check.

Your Responsibilities
- Safely operate trade waste, skip, and RoRo vehicles across various customer sites.
- Plan efficient routes to maximise productivity.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring sites are left tidy after collection.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Maintain accurate records via a digital tablet.
- Adhere to all transport safety and waste management regulations.
What We're Looking For
- A valid Category C licence, a current Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card.
- Experience operating skip loaders or trade waste vehicles is highly desirable.
- Good route knowledge of Derbyshire and surrounding areas.
- A safety-focused and customer‑centric approach.
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks associated with skip and waste collections.
