Role Overview
At Panda, we deliver waste and recycling transport services supporting local communities. We seek an experienced
HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Quarrington team. Operating from our regional depot, this role focuses on safety and service excellence.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate Class 1 articulated vehicles to transport regional waste and recycling.
- Compliance: Complete daily walk‑around checks, report defects, and maintain digital tachograph records under EU regulations.
- Safety First: Strictly adhere to transport laws, road regulations, and site safety protocols.
- Customer Service: Act as a professional company ambassador at all collection and delivery points.
- What We’re Looking For
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence, up‑to‑date Driver CPC, and a Digi Tacho card.
- Proven Class 1 driving experience (waste, walking floor, or bulk transport experience highly advantageous).
- Solid understanding of UK driver compliance, WTD regulations, and defect reporting.
- Reliable, self‑motivated, with excellent communication skills.
