About the Role

Panda is a trusted provider of waste transportation and management solutions based at our depot in Ashbourne.

We are committed to sustainable waste management practices and supporting the circular economy.

The Role

Based at our depot (DE6 1JF), you will operate HGV Class 2 vehicles to safely and efficiently transport waste materials to/from our facility, with a 7 am start.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate an HGV Class 2 Skip vehicle for waste collection and delivery.
  • Plan efficient routes to maximise productivity and reduce environmental impact.
  • Perform daily safety checks on your vehicle and report any defects immediately.
  • Provide friendly customer service, ensuring sites are left tidy and queries are resolved.
  • Work Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (7 am start).

Essential Requirements

  • Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence + current Driver CPC.
  • Digital tachograph card.
  • Experience driving HGVs (waste management experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
  • Physically fit for manual handling and wearing PPE.
  • Committed to safety, sustainability, and teamwork.
