We're seeking an Events Assistant to join our Events team. This role supports the team by delivering a range of administrative tasks that ensure the smooth running of our events programme.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting marketing and stewardship plans.
- Coordinating supporter journeys.
- Maximising engagement, registrations and retention.
- Supporting the execution of major challenge events in the UK, such as the Brighton Marathon, as well as large virtual challenges.
- Delivering insight‑led, multi‑channel supporter journeys.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams within Pancreatic Cancer UK, including Marketing & Communication, Supporter Care and Data.
- Building relationships with supporters, agencies and suppliers.
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive working environment.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organisational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good collaboration skills and a proven teamwork mindset.
- Ability to build rapport with supporters and colleagues alike.
- Experience in a customer‑service facing role is desirable; willingness to broaden knowledge of the charity sector is preferred.
Working Arrangements:
This is an office‑based role located in our London office, working in a hybrid model with a minimum of 2‑3 days in the office.
