Panaz, a global leader in textile innovation based in Burnley, is seeking an HR Advisor for a 12âmonth fixedâterm maternity cover. The role is responsible for delivering firstâline HR guidance and ensuring smooth, compliant people processes across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with managers and the Head of HR, you will support recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, payroll administration, Health & Safety activities, and wider wellbeing, EDI and engagement initiatives that help strengthen our culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing firstâline HR advice and supporting managers with employment matters.
- Preparing contracts, changes to terms, HR letters and maintaining compliant HR records.
- Coordinating recruitment activities, including role profiles, adverts, ATS management and interview scheduling.
- Delivering effective onboarding and induction processes.
- Supporting training activities, including trainer coordination, workshop planning, record keeping and budget oversight.
- Administering monthly payroll data transfer.
- Assisting with Health & Safety coordination, including risk assessments, accident reporting and biâannual H&S meetings.
- Contributing to wellbeing, EDI and engagement initiatives and supporting HR projects led by the Head of HR.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Broad understanding of employment law practices, including absence management, performance management and disciplinary processes.
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and HR administration.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
- High attention to detail, integrity and a proactive, solutionâfocused approach.
- Confident using HR systems e.g., HRIS ("Hi Bob" highly desirable), ATS ("Teamtailor" highly desirable) and embracing new technologies.
- Ability to prioritise, simplify complex matters and handle sensitive issues with fairness.
- Commitment to continuous learning and acting as an ambassador for company culture.
