If you thrive on creativity, have a passion for creating a great atmosphere that delivers real impact, we would love to hear from you.
Role Overview
The EU Influencer and PR Lead is responsible for developing and executing integrated European PR and influencer strategies for Panasonic’s Personal Care and Kitchen Appliances categories. The role builds awareness, credibility and consumer engagement through compelling storytelling, trusted media relationships and effective creator partnerships, while supporting brand and commercial priorities across European markets. Working within the European Brand Engagement team, the role shapes the external voice of the Personal Care and Kitchen Appliances categories across Europe. It connects central strategy with local market execution and brings together earned media, influencer marketing, social-first content and user-generated content. The role works closely with Product Marketing, local communications teams, the social media and Marcoms lead, global stakeholders and external agencies.
How you will become part of the bigger picture:
- Develop and deliver an integrated European PR and influencer strategy aligned with brand positioning, product launches and commercial priorities, translating priorities into communication plans, messaging, content and market toolkits.
- Coordinate Brand Engagement updates and maintain alignment between central and local teams, while identifying new communication opportunities, emerging channels and culturally relevant approaches.
- Lead the planning and execution of PR and influencer campaigns for product launches, seasonal activations and brand-building initiatives across European markets.
- Create campaign briefs, narratives, press materials, creator guidance, launch recommendations and other assets that can be adapted locally.
- Manage product seeding, press kits, media briefings, award submissions, press events, creator activations and issue response processes, including the management of negative sentiment.
- Develop and execute influencer and creator strategies, including talent identification, evaluation, contracting, briefing, content review and campaign delivery.
- Secure and manage influencer content rights for use across Panasonic-owned channels, paid media, e-commerce and retail partner platforms.
- Collaborate with social media and Marcoms teams to integrate influencer content, social campaigns and UGC across Personal Care, Professional Styling and Kitchen Appliances.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consumer, lifestyle, beauty, food, home, technology and trade media, creating compelling earned-media stories and opportunities.
- Oversee product review programmes, media and product-loan requests, press release development, spokesperson preparation, media meetings and European launch events.
- Manage PR, influencer and specialist agency partners, project budgets, contracts and resources, while ensuring compliance with disclosure, legal, usage-rights, brand-safety, approval and governance requirements, supported by accurate documentation.
- Establish, monitor and report on campaign KPIs including reach, engagement, earned coverage, sentiment, content performance, efficiency and ROI, providing insights, recommendations, stakeholder updates and best-practice sharing across European communications teams.
What you will bring to the picture:
- Significant experience in PR and influencer marketing, ideally in consumer, beauty, lifestyle, home, food or technology categories.
- Proven experience developing and delivering integrated campaigns across multiple European markets.
- Strong media relations capability and experience creating compelling consumer-facing stories.
- Practical experience of influencer identification, due diligence, contracting, negotiation, briefing, content approval and relationship management.
- Solid understanding of social platforms, creator-led storytelling, UGC, paid amplification and content usage rights.
- Experience managing agencies, suppliers, contracts, timelines and campaign budgets.
- Strong measurement and reporting skills, with the ability to convert data into clear actions and recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal English; additional European language capability is advantageous.
- Confident presentation, stakeholder-management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage several fast-moving priorities.
- Continuously grow and focus on personal development using the Panasonic Leadership Principles.
- Creative, curious and commercial awareness, with a strong instinct for relevant stories and partnerships.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
- Collaborative and approachable, able to influence stakeholders across functions, markets and seniority levels.
- Calm and resilient, particularly during launches, live events or reputation-sensitive situations.
- Organised, accountable and comfortable taking ownership from strategy through execution and evaluation.
- Committed to inclusive, responsible and transparent communication.
