  • Critically evaluate design proposals, participate in peer reviews, develop test procedures to validate designs, study EMC and signal integrity issues, and eliminate design problems before sample stages.
  • Consider new technology to improve and implement new R&D systems and processes for efficient product development and future improvements.
  • Provide information for weekly project updates to PMUK management and contribute to technical and strategic meetings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure relevant customer, Panasonic, regional, and general product safety directives are considered where appropriate and liaise with customers, suppliers, and PMUK departments to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Lead and support engineers in eradicating historic design problems from future products and ensure development builds align with schedules, including component and assembly house queries.
  • Support cost requirements for projects, including samples costs, mass production parts, and tooling costs.
  • Support project planning for electrical/electronic aspects and maintain project documents (AQ and R&D records) in line with required processes.
