We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our People Relations team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, supportive environment where no two days are the same. You will play a key role in supporting employees, learning how to build positive workplace relationships, and developing valuable skills that will set the foundation for a successful career in people management.
As part of the UK People Relations team, the People Relations Administrator (Apprentice) will provide a high‑quality service to all colleagues across the employment life cycle; from recruitment, induction and handling queries through to resolution, training and system support. The role holder will also work within the UK team to provide strong support to the wider People Relations community and have the opportunity (where allocated) to lead specific People Relations projects.
The role will encompass some or all of the activities listed below and as required by the business needs:
- Prepare contracts and other required documentation for new starters, leavers and employment changes.
- Organise and carry out meetings for colleague’s lifecycle e.g. onboarding, inductions and exit interviews.
- Provide support from the People Relations Shared Services email inbox.
- Be a point of contact for and to support colleagues with general People Relation queries.
- Support the enhancement implementation and promotion of People Relations policies and processes.
- Be responsible and the main contact for our annual Industrial Placement Recruitment Programme.
- Assist with the scheduling of the annual training plan which includes the Industrial Placement training programme.
- Prepare the monthly nominal roll report.
- Be responsible for the completion and checking of payroll input forms in a timely and compliant manner, as agreed with payroll function.
- Assist with various projects in the areas of DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) to ensure progress continues across the business and to keep up to date with developments in this field.
- Support with recruitment campaigns and activities as needed.
- Maintain and support all People Relations databases and systems.
- Provide support and advice for colleagues with People Relations related systems queries and elevate as appropriate.
- Support the regular audit and cleanse of People Relations data related process.
- Support the maintenance of various People Relations pages on our internal intranet site whilst ensuring that regular updates on information are carried out.
- Keep up to date with People Relations and general HR best practice, trends and innovations, suggesting improvements and enhancements to People Relations processes where appropriate.
- Implement any agreed improvements.
- Continuously grow and focus on personal development using the Panasonic Leadership Principles.
What you will bring to the picture:
- Secondary school education with relevant qualifications Grade 4 or above in GCSE Maths and English.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Keen interest in People Relations Administration.
- Effective time management skills including strong prioritisation skills and the ability to meet targets.
- Attention to detail both numeric and verbal.

You will undertake the Level 3 in People Practice or Level 5 in People Management Apprenticeship over 18 months, covering all aspects of People Relations. Your training will be a combination of on‑the‑job training and off‑the‑job learning via online classes and workshops with the Education and Training Board. You will be released from the workplace to participate in the online classes and workshops. You will receive a dedicated workplace mentor who will be there to support you throughout the programme, offering guidance and ensuring that all aspects of your learning follow the structured training plan. This is an "earn and learn" programme and upon successful completion you will gain a recognised Level 3 in People Practice or Level 5 in People Management qualification and will be eligible to progress on to higher levels.

- Hybrid working – during the induction period you may be required to be in Bracknell every day.
