We are looking for a highly motivated, strategic, and forward-thinking individual to drive learning and development across our European operations. Role Overview

This Pan Europe & EMEA role will work with the senior leadership and People Relations teams from the EMEA Operating Companies to fully understand the key business drivers and needs, both now and in the future in order to develop and facilitate the Talent Development agenda. The role involves relationship management, planning, solution implementation, proactive support and operational design, delivery and facilitation. You will contribute to and develop a suite of Talent solutions fully aligned with the Talent Management strategies based on each Operating Company’s requirements. You will also be fully engaged in the development of culture and Organisation Design (OD) solutions tailored to the individual Op Co. requirements. All of this activity is in support of leadership development and succession.

How you will become part of the bigger picture

  • Manage the process of delivering European talent solutions, management, functional and behavioural development programmes.
  • Organise and conduct High Potential and HP assessment/development centres and support talent calibration.
  • Identify talent needs across the European Op Co’s – sourcing information via OD, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with the senior management and People Relations teams.
  • Source, select and negotiate with third party suppliers for the delivery of new talent initiatives.
  • Conduct reviews and improvement meetings with third party suppliers.
  • Keep updated with the latest trends and innovations within Talent Development and promote Panasonic initiatives with the external People Relations and Talent Management community.
  • Fully evaluate the success of all Talent interventions with structured KPIs.
  • Support the roll out of talent solutions (e.g. course introductions; end of course briefings, networking dinners, community management for courses).
  • Finance management: Tracking and forecasting of the Talent spend against budget and production of accurate dashboard reporting each quarter, to ensure we meet our BP and our KPIs are met.
  • Manage the costs of the talent interventions that the role holder is responsible for.
  • Undertake project work associated with Talent Development as required by the European Talent Director.
  • Support Talent calibration & succession planning and Global programmes as required and directed by the European Talent Director.

What you will bring to the picture

  • Possession of a recognised degree.
  • Appropriate talent or learning CIPD qualification or European equivalent.
  • Strong demonstrable track record of Learning & Development/Talent Development and/or OD Management, within an innovative corporate culture.
  • Strong preference for a minimum of 3-5 years’ L&D/talent development experience, with delivery and facilitation experience.
  • Experience of working with a wide variety sectors, cultures and countries.
  • Experience and interest in innovation and horizon-scanning, embracing technology like AI, and re‑engineering and disrupting approaches and frameworks to improve L&D/Talent development, and or Culture/OD processes.
  • Strong facilitation, communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent client management skills.
  • Successful track record in the procurement of learning/talent development services and working in partnership with external providers.
  • A self‑starter able to work both alone and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitative communication style.
  • Able to handle confidential data with discretion.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrable problem‑solving ability.
  • Ability to use own initiative and be proactive in approach.
  • Able to persevere through challenges and maintain focus under pressure.
  • Curiosity, growth mindset and focus on continuous improvement.

What we offer

  • Salary range: Dependant on experience
  • Annual Leave: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays per annum (rising to 27 days on completion of 3 years of service) (pro‑rata for part‑time)
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week full‑time
  • Working Location: Bracknell – Hybrid with the expectation to attend the office at least 2 days per week
  • Working Environment: A multi‑cultural, hybrid working environment
  • Option to be based outside of UK would be considered
