We seek talented individuals to join our Technical Services Team to maintain and enhance these systems.
Job Summary: Licensed Aircraft Engineer with A License / B1 & B2
Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations on Panasonic IFE systems in compliance with FAA/CAA/EASA/CASA regulations.
Major Responsibilities:
- Conduct built-in and manual tests of IFE systems, troubleshoot electronic units, cabling, or seat consoles, and replace line-replaceable units as needed.
- Identify repairs, remove and replace defective components, operate airport vehicles, and communicate with customers.
- Document testing and repairs, manage parts, and assist with inventory tracking.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years relevant industry experience preferred.
- Qualifications satisfying regulatory licensing (FAA A&P, UK CAA, EASA).
- Ability to pass security and background checks.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
- Ability to read and follow instructions, manuals, blueprints, and diagrams in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting, gained through aviation, military, or technical education.
- Ability to work under stress, exercise judgment, and complete tasks resourcefully.
Other Requirements:
- Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
- Valid UK driver's license, ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays.
- Manual dexterity, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and endure various environmental conditions.
