Role Overview
This role operates within the Panasonic Europe Tax team, which provides a range of tax shared services to Panasonic businesses in the European region.
The role holder will coordinate the provision of UK tax shared services to UK businesses of the Panasonic Group, including annual corporation tax compliance, VAT, and supporting the UK tax aspects of business, organizational, and systems change. This involves active business partnering with relevant UK management, finance, and commercial teams.
The role holder will develop and communicate group policies related to the UK tax group for all UK businesses in the Panasonic group, coordinate mandatory UK tax interactions between UK tax group members where UK tax laws operate on a group-wide basis, and support central UK tax group requirements (including but not limited to Senior Accounting Officer compliance, publication of the annual UK tax policy, etc.).
Additionally, the role provides capacity for the broader European Tax Team, supporting specific requests as needed. This includes publishing updates of tax laws on the intranet and supporting European VAT compliance.
