Candidates must be available to work 34 hours per week for a period of six months starting from the hire date. This is a Co‑Op opportunity and not an internship. Join our dynamic Engineering team to support and develop new products for the leader in the Food Retailing Industry! This position will support a variety of new and existing products and projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Lead Engineers on conceptual design and overall development of refrigerated display cases
- Design parts/assemblies in 3D modeling software (SolidEdge)
- Support product testing
- Support product prototyping in our Model Shop
- Participate in engineering gate review deliverables within the design release process (Design Reviews, DFMEAs, DVP&R, etc.)
- Support internal customers (Manufacturing, Service, Quality, Sales)
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in school pursuing a minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
- Ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects and demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated and eager to learn
- Strong computer skills
Co‑Ops may work up to 34 hours per week. This role is not eligible for overtime.
