We are seeking an experienced Fire Stopping Supervisor to join our firestopping team and assist our Fire Stopping Manager at Panache Fire Services. This is a hands‐on management role combining strategic oversight with practical site work. You will be responsible for managing fire stopping projects from initial enquiry through to completion, leading our installation teams, ensuring compliance with UK fire safety regulations, and contributing to business growth. This position requires someone who can balance office‐based planning and client liaison with on‐site supervision and installation work.

As Fire Stopping Supervisor, you will oversee fire stopping installation projects, manage teams of operatives, ensure compliance with UK fire safety regulations, and maintain the highest quality standards on site. You will handle both technical delivery and the health & safety management of fire stopping works across various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate fire stopping operatives on construction sites, ensuring work is completed to specification and British Standards.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine fire stopping requirements.
  • Read and interpret architectural and fire strategy drawings.
  • Ensure all work complies with current UK Building Regulations and relevant fire safety legislation.
  • Liaise with main contractors, site managers and clients regarding project requirements and progress.
  • Complete daily site reports, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor and enforce strict health and safety procedures on site.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met before sign‐off.
  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment required for projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to operatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of works completed for certification purposes.
Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection.
  • SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) certificate, valid and in‐date.
  • Experience with third‐party certification schemes (BMTrada, Warrington).
  • CSCS Supervisory card.
  • First Aid at Work certificate.
  • PASMA or IPAF certification.
Required Skills & Attributes:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in fire stopping installation.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the fire protection industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare quotations and manage project budgets.
  • Strong understanding of passive fire protection systems including compartmentation, cavity barriers, and penetration sealing.
  • Knowledge of fire‐rated products, manufacturers, and appropriate applications.
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Strong organizational and multi‐tasking abilities.
  • Proficient with IT systems for reporting, estimating, and project management.
  • Commercial awareness and business development mindset.
  • Full understanding of CDM regulations and site safety requirements.
