I am looking to fill a role with the largest BMS controls company in the country, after an influx of contracts and associated projects. They are looking to strengthen their Scottish team. They see themselves as a gritty, can-do attitude team who go the extra mile to get the job done every time.
What am I looking for:
- A dynamic BMS Service and Commissioning Engineer who has a desire to learn
- A great aptitude for problem solving
- Excellent communication skills
- Competence with Tridium, Distech, Trend or Siemens PX
- A BMS background with strong HVAC plant knowledge
- Electrical qualifications
Territory: This role will require you to cover the Central Belt mainly on the M8 Corridor with occasional travel up to the Tayside region. You will be required to work on commercial buildings, banks, pharmaceutical labs, schools and universities in the area. You will be home based and fully mobile.
What the role requires:
- Pre-planned maintenance
- Reactive breakdowns
- Small project works
- Software modifications
- Graphic page modification and generation
- Pre-commissioning, point to point testing
- Commissioning on upgrade projects up to £500K in value
What you can expect back:
- Basic salary £45,000 - £55,000
- Travel time paid at normal rate
- Overtime averaging around £5 - £10k per annum (X1.5 weekdays and X2 on Sundays)
- Call out rota 1 in 8 - £275 for each week and a minimum of 4 hours paid at x1.5 per call out
- Car allowance of £6,800 pa or company car
- Private healthcare
- 25 days holidays
- 5%/7.5% company pension
