Job Summary
An exciting full‑time opportunity for a Mental Health Practitioner to join our First Response Services within the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, Congleton. The successful applicant will work across the Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Service, which includes Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage Services, Liaison and Diversion Services, and the Crisis Line.
Main Duties
- Work within a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive assessment of people presenting in crisis.
- Undertake detailed assessments of needs and use clinical skills and knowledge to provide intervention and treatment.

Person Specification
Essential Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in mental health – RMN, AHP, Social Care (AMHPs)
Desirable Qualifications
- Evidence of further professional development involving serious mental illness.
- Willingness to undertake and complete nurse prescribing certificate.
- Non‑medical Prescribing certificate.
Essential Knowledge & Expertise
- Knowledge and sensitivity to equal opportunities issues.
- Sound knowledge of current professional staff development and continuous service improvement issues, particularly in the context of ADHD and personality disorder services.
Desirable Knowledge & Expertise
- Information Management and Technology skills.
Essential Experience
- A good amount of post‑registration experience or demonstrated competencies through Personal Development Plan.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
