Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of older adults? We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Support Worker to join our dynamic Community Mental Health Team. In this role, you will provide high quality, compassionate care to older adults with both dementia and functional mental health conditions.

You will work collaboratively with a well-established team to deliver personalised treatment plans and provide support to patients and carers as they navigate complex mental health challenges. The role may also involve occasional working with working age adults to support the wider goals of the service. This is a rewarding and fulfilling position, perfect for a dedicated person wishing to develop skills and advance their career while making a significant difference in the community.

Clinical Support Workers are responsible for the delivery of care and support for service users within the community mental health setting and reporting on the service users' wellbeing under the guidance of a registered mental health practitioner. You will also be responsible for the delivery of a range of therapeutic interventions and other aspects of the service user's care plan under the guidance of a registered mental health practitioner. You will liaise with all agencies necessary to the health and wellbeing of the service user and their carers.

To support this, we offer up to three weeks induction, dependent on role, with our Prepare to Care programme for all new starters. This programme welcomes you to CWP and provides you with information and training to support you in your role.

Please download a copy of the job description for full details. Recruitment selection processes are based on competence and values. CWP recruits people that can demonstrate the Trust's Values and Behaviours in their everyday life. Therefore, if you are invited to interview, you will be undertaking a Values Based Interview/Assessment, which explores not only what you do but how and why you do it.

Before applying, we encourage you to review the Trust's Values and Behaviours which are 'the 6 Cs' Communication, Competence, Courage, Care, Compassion and Commitment. The supporting information section in your application should therefore reflect your understanding of the Trust's Values and associated behaviours.

If you have a disability that meets the definition set out in the Equality Act 2010, and you can show that you meet the 'essential' criteria described in the person specification for an available position, please answer 'YES' to the question: 'Do you wish to be considered under the Guaranteed Interview Scheme?' Please inform the team if you have any special support needs to be considered as part of the interview and selection processes.
